While Subject 2923 is confirmed to be the final DLC for the title, fans may be happy to learn that Gunfire Games has recently indicated that a sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes is "possible." If a sequel is to come in the future, though, it is undoubtedly quite a ways off, and there is thus certainly no rush for players to complete Subject 2923. That said, fans do not need to own Remnant: From the Ashes' Swamps of Corsus DLC, which released back in April, to play Subject 2923. Indeed, fans that want to experience this new DLC for themselves will need to buy it for $9.99, and that can be done through Steam, the Epic Games Store, the PlayStation Store, or the Microsoft Store depending on what platform the player owns the base game on.

This, of course, assumes that the player has purchased and downloaded Remnant: From the Ashes' Subject 2923 DLC, as this is not a free update to the title. Doing this will put the option to start Subject 2923 directly to the right of the original campaign, and players will be able to set their preferred difficulty after selecting the DLC campaign from here.
